UK Case

The above fees are applicable and include reasonable travel & subsistence expenses except for case levels of up to and including £10,000 where reasonable travel & subsistence expenses are included within the London and Devon areas only, for case levels of up to and including £10,000 outside the London and Devon areas then reasonable travel & subsistence expenses are not included in the above fee.

EU/EEA Case

The above fees are applicable plus reasonable travel & subsistence expenses.

Rest of World Case

The above fees are applicable plus reasonable travel time, waiting time and travel & subsistence expenses.

Key Terms & Conditions

Duration of mediation: three hours for half-day mediation and seven hours for full-day mediation which includes any tea breaks and/or lunch.
If required, local venue/room hire is added to the fee at the hire cost plus a £50 (plus vat if applicable) administration charge.
An administration fee of £50 (plus vat if applicable) is charged in advance if you would like R19 to make reasonable attempts to contact the other party to see if they agree to mediation. If mediation goes ahead then this amount will be deducted from your mediation fee.
There are no administrative charges apart from those listed in these Key Terms & Conditions unless otherwise agreed.
Fees include reasonable preparation.
Fees are payable in advance by cleared funds.
Overtime is charged at £170 (plus vat if applicable) per hour per party.
Mediators will normally arrive an hour to 30 minutes before the designated start times and remain for an additional 30 minutes without charging overtime.
Parties are jointly and severally liable for all fees from the receipt of the booking confirmation email by them - unless the booking is cancelled within 24 hours of receipt of the booking confirmation email. The booking confirmation email will state the agreed mediation date. It will also give other key details.
Parties must sign the R19 MEDIATOR Agreement to Mediate before the mediation commences: failure to sign does not remove the liability for fees.
Cancellation or postponement fees apply within ten working days of the agreed mediation date for UK cases, twenty working days for EU/EEA cases and thirty working days for Rest of World cases. This included any room hire cancellation charges.
